A 16% crude protein formulation which complements the high protein of a pasture diet, Calf-grow contains 8% crude fibre to ensure the rumen continues to develop. Highly digestible raw materials delivering 12.5Mj/kg ME help to ensure target growth rates continue to be achieved on grass. A truly multi-purpose pellet, Calf-grow can also be offered to older replacement heifers to maintain physical condition when forage supply is limited.

Feeding Recommendations

Winslow Calf-pro1 can be offered to calves from as young as two days old. Calf-pro1 is formulated to be fed at 1-2kg/calf/day to complement milk or a milk replacer. For best results it is recommended to then change to Calf-grow post-weaning. A full feeding guide is available on request. Calf-grow,in conjunction with good quality grass post-weaning, can be fed at a rate of up to 2kg/calf/day to achieve 0.8-1.0kg live weight gain daily.
