Winslow Contracting prides itself on providing efficient, professional services in hay, silage and strawmaking that is competitively priced. We operate in the Mid Canterbury heartland - the zone between the Rangitata and Rakaia rivers.

We own and operate an up to date range of some of the best agricultural machinery and provide our clients with peace of mind that their feed making requirements will be taken care of in a prompt and professional manner. We also buy and sell surplus hay, silage and straw throughout Canterbury.

We hit our peak operation during the silage and straw making seasons. Silage extends from October to late December and the straw season runs from January to early April.

In 2009 in conjunction with our Feeds & Nutrition division we successfully made the first stacks of Alkalage in New Zealand, effectively launching a feed revolution for New Zealand farmers. We now offer full Alkalage and Alkagrain making services in the Canterbury region and are working to have accredited contractors* set up in other regions to enable farmers to take advantage of the benefits that Alkalage and Alkagrain provide.

*Accredited contractors are approved by Winslow Ltd to provide contract services to make Alkalage and Alkagrain including the application of Home n' Dry pellets required to make Alkalage and Alkagrain.
