The original contracting business, Carr Contracting Ltd, which is now Winslow Contracting hits peak operation during the silage and straw making seasons. Silage making extends from October to late December and the straw season runs from January to early April. The operation covers the Mid Canterbury heartland - the zone between the Rangitata and the Rakaia Rivers.

Winslow Contracting owns and operates an up to date range of some of the best brands of agricultural machinery. Winslow Contracting also buys and sells surplus hay, silage and straw throughout Canterbury. The Winslow contracting team pride themselves on offering efficient, professional service that is high in quality but still competitively priced.
